Wingham Chronicle

Wingham Chronicle has been published since 1880 and is regarded as essential reading each week for the district’s 5000 residents – if it happens in Wingham, it’s in the Chronicle.

The paper identifies strongly with its community and gets behind annual town promotions such as Beef Week and retail sale days.

Located on the Manning River, 12km west of Taree, Wingham is a town built around the dairy and beef cattle industries.

Other local industries include aged care, agriculture, coal mining, dairying, an export meat works, fishing and aquaculture, forestry and logging, grain growing, sheep and beef cattle farming, gravel and sand quarrying, livestock farming, poultry farming, tourism and wine production.

Today the Wingham Chronicle circulates through Wingham, Burrell Creek, Killawarra, Marlee, Mount George, Tinonee and Yarratt Forest, and is available to read online.

This publication uses a T84 Modular layout.
